Autumn NOTD

Just a quick post, but at the moment my faverouite nail varnish is BarryM Black and Red, its such a nice autumn colour and I love it :) what's your faverouite nail varnish? X

NOTD: Going for Gold

A few weeks ago I got this nail varnish in one of the Jolie boxes with another on which is bronze. They are from the brand Nail Girls and our from the Olympic range.

I am so glad I got the gold and the bronze because I was going to go and get a gold one anyway because I already have a silver one, and love it so I was really pleased to get this in the Jolie box.

So this NOTD is very different to normal because I only have one nail varnish colour on my nails. I like it so much that I don't think I need anything to go with it. It is also really sparkly, the only think I don't like is that it is so hard to get of your nails and it spreads the sparkle onto your skin and sticks but the colour is great I LOVE it!

(I am sorry I don't know the name because it was only a sample size)

I love this so much and I am thinking of doing another Olympic related nails what do you think? Do you like the colour?

NOTD - A Sprinkling of Glitter

I know its summer/ almost summer but here in England it is pouring with rain :( I really want it to be warm and sunny so I can wear all the bright and pastley nail varnishes I have, but today my nails are quite dark. (because of the horrible weather)
I have seen lots of people having to colours on there fingers, one colour on Ring Finger and Thumb and another colour on the others so I decided to give it ago. Also on the Ring Finger and Thumb I did a diagonal stripe of glittery nail varnish to make them look a bit more interesting (I love glittery nail varnishes!!)

The colours I used where:
Barry M Bright purple
Barry M Cobalt blue
Topshop Ice Crush

I hope you like them. I am going to try and do flowers on my nails next week because I a doing work experience in a florist and think it would look cool :) So if you have any good tips or have seen a good tutorial please let me no :) xxx

NOTD Ice Crush

I recently bought my first Topshop nail varnish Ice Crush and I love it so much, so yesterday I painted my nails a light blue which I got from Barry M (sorry don't know the name) and I really liked the colour but thought it was just a bit boring by its self! So I decided to paint my thumb and ring finger in Ice Crush and thought I'd show you :)

This it one of my favourite combination of nail varnishes I think they look so nice together.

Daisy Nails

I have just done one of the cutest nail designs and I love it I think it will be so cute for the spring and then you could change  the base nail colour for the summer.
Anyway I thought you might like to see what they look like :)

Daisy Nails :)

Choose your base coat, I chose Mint Green from Barry M.

Next use a dotting tool to help make the yellow center ...wait!

Then use the dotting tool again to make the white petals of the daisy I did 5 white dots on all my fingers except my little finger where I did 6.

glittery nails!

I have recently become obsessed with painting my nails and have spent most of my money (I did have) on nail varnish oops! Last night I decide to try out a design I have seen on other peoples blogs and youtube channels. 

I started with two coats of the Barry M black nail varnish and waited for it to dry. Then I started almost at the bottom of my nails and did one fine coat of Barry M Limited Edition Effects silver glitter then then start half of the way up my nail with the silver glitter and then when it is dry do the top of you nail so you cant see the color underneath.  

 The finished nails :) hope you like them and have a go.

Oh also do any of you find that the Barry M nail varnish peals very easily even with a top coat? Let me know please if yours does. (or if its just me)
